Family Literacy Day is coming up on January 27th. The girls' school is having a special event around this. They are inviting families to come pick out a book (to keep), read it together, then there will be guest hockey players coming from a near by city to read to us too! So in order for the school to give out books they are asking for donations from the families.
Most of our things are still in storage.......as we need things, we pop out and get them. Well, we have a few books here but not a lot, so I asked Rolland to go out to get a box that was labeled "kids books".So we could donate some books to the school. He found one, brought it home........ and this is how excited my kids were to look at the 'new' books in the box! It was like they opened a gift!

It's sure gonna be Christmas when you can open all the other boxes you've got in storage ;-)
