friendly? pets near our new home

This isn't a very good pic...... but do you see the black and white thing beside the white basket .....right outside our door!! .......

See the white and black fur sticking out of the lid! (Rolland was being brave or maybe I should say stupid to try and take this pic LOL).......it's not a cat tail!!  Mr. Smelly isn't digging in our garbage it is our recycle........ but we had people over earlier in the day and some of them had thrown their food garbage in the recycle basket....... we cleared out the plates....but obviously Mr. Smelly found some supper! 
And the salamanders! We have been doing some work in the yard and when the big piles of sand get moved........we have found tons of salamanders.......the first two Emily named Sandwich, and Sally........ then along came a sammy.......and more! 5 in one day, they released them, and a few days later they found two more! But they have been released now too. Again, my girly girl was hans on...... 

Robin Hood ~ the horsemen and the skunk

Missoula Children's theatre came to do a work shop in town. So my two girls auditioned for the play which would be held at the end of one week and tonight was the performance. Kaelie was a horsemen and Emily a skunk. It was awesome!!!!!! :) We all sat and enjoyed it (even Isaac did).

Our new family toy!

We got a bike trailer! We are all excited about it. And someone also gave Rolland a new bike (thank you sooo much Carol!!). And now, we can all go for a nice long family bike ride! The picture below is Grandpa Skip trying it all out

This is Isaac's favorite cupboard to play in...... Sydnie enjoyed it with him. They had to pull everything out of the cupboard :) Who needs toys!!

A little holiday!

Mom and I this past weekend were able to go on a little trip. We flew! We enjoyed a bridal shower for my future sister - in - law (who I think is just awesome!) We got to visit with some of my relatives, who we haven't seen for so long. It was fun times, fun to visit, fun to shop, fun to laugh!

The long weekend

We had visitors in our new home this last weekend! It was great! Dan and Tara tented, and mom & dad stayed in our little guest house. 

It was a pretty layed back weekend......visiting, walking in the provincial park, roasting marshmallows, playing cards when the kids went to bed!

We were so glad to have them come!!
