Yesterday Sydnie was playing with a window that slides up and down very easily......and Isaac got his fingers in there......and the window came down on his poor little fingers. The injuries could of been way worse than they were. A couple tiny cuts, and a sad little boy.
Today, he was playing outside and took a nose dive on the cement. I think he cut thru his top lip actually. UGH. Might get a better look if you click on the picture. LOL Poor little man.
So with Grandma and Grandpa came gifts to continue on with Isaac's birthday and to start Sydnie's (which is in a few days)......Thank you Grandpa and Grandma, and Auntie Aimee & Uncle Kris (Tayla and Kaydence)!!! :)
And almost like tradition Grandma brought some Stampin' stuff to do with the kiddos.......

The days were full of pretty nice weather so the park was a stop a few times (without my camera), Grandma had the kids all day one day and filled the day with the trampoline, the park, chips and popcorn! :)

Kaelie had to take on a science fair project this year. She chose to try to do plant growth using bean seeds. There was some trial and error.....but that is what science projects are about, right! She was pretty proud of the end results! And we were proud of her too!
Emily brought the idea home on a paper from school..... I thought it was a cute, and simple craft to do with the kids on break. At the time only Syd and Em were home to do it.

Lots of pics in this post, but I just can't help it! :) One of the things we did over the Easter break was go out to our friends' farm.....it just so happened that they had a baby calf that they weren't sure who was the mama. So this baby calf was in the yard where the kids could play with him, and feed him. It was a pretty neat thing for us in town folk :) The calf was named by it's owners....Diego.
And we ended our evening with a fire, hot dogs and marshmallows! Thanks James and Tasha!!!

Easter Sunday Grandpa and Grandma H came for a turkey dinner and a visit with us. It was just a simple nice time together...... 
When the kids woke up they started hunting for eggs. I am sure that Isaac's menu for almost the whole day was chocolate. Please tell me there is some nutrients in that!! Then at church we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. And it just so happened that mine were the only ones there this Sunday........ it was very fun to watch them. I was thankful the weather co-operated for us to do the egg hunt outside! Thanks for all your help Shelby and boys! :)
On the Saturday we got to go and celebrate our little friend, Aurora's 3rd Birthday! It was a fun filled day of swimming, visiting, cake and pizza! :) Thanks to James and Tasha!

On Good Friday the kids and I dyed eggs. I think they enjoyed it. What are your traditions for the dyed eggs?? We just let them sit out as deocorations......and then eventually they get put into the garbage. But I have heard a few of different ideas.....would love to hear yours!?
We went to Good Friday service at the pentecostal assembly in town. And then just a simple quiet evening that night at home.
