Halloween party day at Moms and Tots!! We were on for the snack.........so Isaac & I made worms and dirt for the kids' snack!
Isaac was Eeyore.......and I made sure I had orange and black on. 
I think it was a very fun filled afternoon!!!
Syd got to stay for an after school program in the kitchen! I LOVE that our school provides these programs for the kids & bonus, they are FREE!!I volunteered to help out, too!
They made Boo Brew ~ frozen vanilla yogurt, in orange pop with a gummy worm
Celery Mummies ~ celery, with a herb & garlic cream cheese spread, and then thin slices of ham going zig zag across
As well they made ghosts using Pillsbury dough, raisins for the eyes, craisins for the mouth, and cheese on top.
October 23rd ~ Still fairly warm, NO SNOW!! It is soooo nice! Would love for it to last a lot longer, but heard rumor it isn't going to last long at all. However, the kids and I took advantage of this fine day today and walked to the "downtown park". I decided to try to snap some fun photos of them while we were there!
My kids had an opportunity to audition for a special week of play practise, and at the end of the week putting on the play production! It was very good, lots of cute moments, and the girls had a blast!!! The play was called "Treasure Island". Syd was a seagull, and Kaelie was a "Sister" named Joanie! Grandpa and Grandma H were here to enjoy the performance, too!!!
October 5, 2010 was teacher appreciation day. It's not a very well known day at all....and probably something quite new within the last few years. But two friends of mine were doing something for their teachers (Jen & Jamie) and so I was encouraged to do something for my kids' teachers, too! Emily helped me make special shaped cookies!
Emily's class is the Brainy Bears, Syd's is the SuperStars, and Kaelie doesn't have one, so we tried to make apple shaped cookies!
We went on a mini get-away to visit my parents, celebrate my dad's birthday, and just get away! :)
On the beautiful Sunday afternoon we headed a bit out of town to a place where we used to go as kids......it's a fun adventurous place to go. Fun for the whole family!
