A day spent in Waterton National Park

One of the days of camp......some went on a hike, some went to Waterton.

Playing in Waterton Lake. What a beautiful lake.....crystal clear!! It was kind of a cool, windy day. But the girls had fun wading in the water. We spent the day in Waterton with Rolland's parents, and a sweet older lady named Kay.




One of the first things we did when we got to Waterton was stop for yummy ice cream! Grandpa Henri's treat for us all.
The deer are very tame, and we saw them quite a lot around the town. Rolland fed this one something. Kind of need to be careful though. We did see the same one, kind of "attack" a girl because it wanted something out her other hand!

We rented a surrey bike.......all of us could fit! The kids loved it........mommy and daddy got pretty pooped after only a few minutes.

Stopped in Medicine Hat on our way to camp......

We made a stop in Medicine Hat, Alberta because our friends, ....had stopped in there on their visit to Alberta from Alaska. We were able to visit, swim, go to the gospel jambory (spelling??), and celebrate Benjamin's 9th Bday. It was a nice time!
