a mini holiday

Last weekend we went to Regina for the weekend. However, that wasn't our original plan. We had big plans to meet with friends and go camping ~ BUT the weather had a different idea.....because of the snow, and rain, and cold we cancelled our camping trip. Didn't get to meet up with our friends.....which was such a huge bummer. Sooooo, we thought we'd make the best of it and have a little family holiday.

We did 7 - 11! Big hit now a days, since we don't have one :) LOL





Enjoyed some sites of the city!


Enjoyed our hotel room, which a friend of ours got us a great deal on!




We went swimming!!






And something we thought would be fun, bought a new board game, and played on the hotel room floor!

We went to a musical performance at Western Christian, we also went to a movie at the cheap theatre, and we did a small amount of bargain clothes shopping! Rolland got two really nice brand new shirts for $2.50 a shirt! LOL :) Got to love that!!!

I feel like our little family doesn't do a lot of little family holidays like this. So this was such a healthy thing for us. Much needed in so many ways. I hope we made some fond memories together! And I hope we take the time to do it again, soon!!
