My new kitchen

This is one of the most favorite places in the our new house. The beautiful sun shines in, in the morning....(if the sun is shining), and I just love the kitchen!!

My ball players

Both Emily and Kaelie joined softball. Emily was hesitant about joining in, but we did it anyways. And Emily is starting to really enjoy it and get better and better at it! Emily is in the picture above in the white. We have not had good weather for ball season at all. It has been near winter some evenings! Below is Kaelie. She is really enjoying it too, and more of a natural thing for her. It has kept us all very busy, but it is so good for my kids!!

Compassion Canada ~ Mukandayambaje

Mukandayambaje is from Rwanda and was born November 10, 2001. When her parents can find work as farmers, they earn about $12 per month.

My friend, Shannon, is a Compassion Canada Advocate. Mukandayambaje is one of the children that Shannon is trying to find a sponsor for,but at the end of this month if she doesn't get a sponsor she will be pulled out of the system for a small chunk of time and then back in again to try to find a sponsor. If you are interested in committing to helping this little girl out financially, and spiritually please let me know!! It is the simple cost of $35 a month ~ the cost of a meal out! It will brighten her day to get prayers, letters, and stickers, etc....

You Know you've crossed the threshold into advanced "Mommydom" when.......

-You count the sprinkles on each kid's cupcake to make sure they're equal

-You want to take out a contract on the kid who broke your son's favorite toy car and made him cry

-You only have time to shave one leg

- You hide in the bathroom to be alone

- Your child throws up and you catch it

- Someone else's kid throws up at a party and you keep eating

-You've mastered the art of placing large quantities of pancakes and eggs on a plate without anything touching

- Your child insists that you read Once a Upon A Potty out loud in the lobby of Grand Central Terminal and you do it!

-You hope ketchup is a vegetable because it's the only one your child eats.

-You fastforward the scene when the hunter shoots bambi's mother

-You obsess when your child clings to you upon parting during his first month a school, then obsess when he skips in without looking back the second time

-You can't bear to give away baby clothes......it's so final.

-You hear your mother's voice coming out of your mouth when you say "Not in your good clothes!"

-You stop criticizing the way your mother raised you

-You read that the average five year old asks 437 questions a day and feel proud that your kid is "above average".

-You hire a sitter because you haven't been out with your husband in ages, spend half the night checking on the kids.

-You say at least once a day "I'm not cut out for this job" but you know you wouldn't trade it for anything!! :)
