Family camp/VBS

We had a busy fun filled week of Family camp and Vacation Bible School. We packed up our camping gear and headed to Clearview Christian Camp. Along with that runs our VBS program......so the kids were all bussed to the church in the mornings for the whole week. It was sure busy and fun filled! It was so nice to come back to the camp after and not have any major responsibilities. ( I think I am still trying to get back into the roles of life that were before this last week LOL ). It was busy, it was fun, it was relaxing!

We had some swimming....... it was not a super nice weather week, but still got some swimming in. We even got some water sliding in, too!!

Friendships were made!

The awesome counsellors (below) and Kevin the cook (above).....all great! helped make the week be wonderful!!

Canada Day!

We had beautiful weather!! During the day I was babysitting.....we spent a lot of time outside in the sprinkler, blowing bubbles, and putting Canada tattoos on everyone!
Then for supper we packed up a picnic and went up to the lake.







We took Teddy.....not even thinking about the fireworks might scare the cr*p out of him! Poor dog LOL

They had over 2000 fireworks set up! I think that is pretty impressive for small community! It was a great display. I didn't take any pics of them actually going off. We had a wonderful family time, just relaxing, playing, hanging out, and then when people started coming we enjoyed spending time with some of our friends too.

Uncle Dan and Auntie Tara came to our house for a little visit!

We had a pretty busy day leading up to their arrival, but Syd and Isaac were excited and ready!! (Kae and Em had stayed behind at Grandpa and Grandma's and came back with Dan and Tara). ~ fun rental car, hey!!
We discovered they were only really interested in the trampoline ;) LOL The kids had a GREAT time with them on there! And I think Dan and Tara did, too!!

We roasted smokies around the fire, ate outside, visited........ once the kiddos were in bed us adults enjoyed berries and ice cream.....and the Wii :) We really enjoyed having them here.......too bad it had to be so short.

Summer ~ time with family

A quite rare occasion for us all to be together in one place at one time! We did it! It was short, but so very sweet. Marc flew into Regina on the Thursday, Dan and Tara flew into Winnipeg on Saturday........and we all met them at "home" on Sunday afternoon! It was a very relaxing enjoyable time together.
