It was Emily's birthday yesterday!! WOW, 9 years ago........I had a home birth with my second baby girl in Winnipeg. It was a memorable experience......and wow I can't believe 9 years old!!! She is a special girl.......a quiet causious girl (around those she doesn't know well), she can also be a very determined strong willed girl :). She is artistic, loves to write, and draw & is very good at it (like her dad!). She is doing very well in school reading within a Grade 5 level (and only being in grade 3).....the one thing her report card said she needed to work on is speaking up and participating that way in class (that was like me!)

Emily wanted to bake the day before her birthday so she made her own birthday cake, and designed it too!
We celebrated Emily's birthday with her friends back in December. It was a fun filled birthday party, decorating gingerbread houses was a great success!!
Emily is wearing one of her gifts from Grandma Marie ~ the purple vest, along with that Grandma took Emily shopping for more, and she picked out a very cute outfit! THANK YOU Grandma and Grandpa B!!!
"YAY A BOX!!" LOL she was being her silly self (in her own comfortable environment) ~ Some very nice clothes from Auntie Tara & Uncle Dan THANK YOU!!!!!
And big sister thought it a great idea (and we did too) to give Kaelie's DS to Emily for her birthday!!
Emily also got a very special doll from Grandma and Grandpa H (in the early Christmas pictures). THANK YOU!!! and she was very blessed with a few other things too!!!! Hope she feels as special as she is!!!
