ball season is done!!

We are happy to have ball season done. It was fun though.....just very busy. Kae and Em were on two different teams, so most nights of the week we were going here there and everywhere.

We had Kae's ball wind up on Tuesday evening, and Emily's on Wednesday evening. I wasn't able to go to Em's windup, so I didn't get any pics of it.

But pretty much the same idea for both, parents played with the kids. Very fun to watch (I didn't play!LOL) and then treats afterwards.

I thought this was a neat pic, because Kaelie was pitching, Emily was batting and Rolland is in there too. At one point Syd was there with Rolland, as well!

I love summer community activities. Last night we got to go to a summer event here. We have a BoogieFest all weekend......I think it is mostly focused around bikers.....but there are events for everyone. So a few friends and their kids (and I and my kids ~ Rolland had a meeting) headed out to the event. It was a lot of fun. Then afterwards we went back to a friends for pizza and visiting. Rolland caught up to us then.

Small town Drive In Theatre! :)

Last night we decided to surprise the kids with a bit of an adventure. We didn't tell them where we were going, but told them to bring a blanket.......


We backed into the stall, opened the back gate door on the van and watched the movie together. We sprayed mosquito spray, lit some mosquito stick things......and it went quite well. It did get chilly, but we did pretty good. The older two girls stayed awake for the whole thing, Isaac and Syd fell asleep. It was a fun family night out.

Some Summer-like weather FINALLY!!

We bought a sprinkler, and put it under the trampoline. The girls had a blast! It was nice to see them having fun together without any spats LOL :)

Isaac watched from a far. He did get on once in a while, but it really wasn't his thing.
And of course they had to talk daddy and mommy into joining for a bit!

Isaac's REAL first hair cut

Quite a few months back Rolland did a bit of a hair cut on Isaac but today I took him for his first real haircut. He did so good!! And he looks soooo cute!! Thanks to my friend Jen!

Youth Retreat

Rolland was pretty busy all weekend. Spoke many times, hung out with the teens, etc..... But it was still a nice family weekend get away. The kids and I spent most of the time outside. We had BEAUTIFUL summer-like weather the whole weekend! I even got a sun burn!!

Isaac's cute and dirty face......he didn't stay clean for long. I would have him all cleaned up and the next thing I knew he was rolling around in the dirt (literally!), but that's what camping is all about, right!

A trip........ to warmer weather LOL

We just had to go to another province to get warmer weather LOL. Off to see Rolland's family. The main reason for the trip was that Rolland was the guest speaker for a youth retreat over the weekend near Edmonton. So we took in some extra days for some family visiting. It is so nice for the cousins!! Grandma Marie and I took the kids to the park a couple of times!





Auntie Alex bought the girls matching outfits FUN FUN! Alex and i used to dress Delanie and Kaelie up the same when they were just a year old. It was fun LOL (and cheesey I know) But how cute!!

Emily has been losing teeth left and right. Seems crazy! She is causing the tooth fairy to go broke!

It's been a long time.........

I owe a bunch of postings...... so we'll start here, and carry on! :)

The basement...... SO MUCH ROOM, pretty much a play area.....




A media area....... and not included in pics is an area where we have our computer, an area that is tucked away for my scrapbooking area (although I need a table, and some more book shelves to get it going LOL), another bathroom (WE HAVE 2 1/2 Bathrooms in this house! It's a mansion LOL) Kaelie is bedroom is downstairs, it is a BIG bedroom, but way too messy for me to take a picture of LOL
A part of our backyard........ taken from our deck....... the yard is HUGE, when we moved here we also purchased a trampoline (something us and the kids had been saving all our spare change for), there is a HUGE garden in the back. Really unfortunate I am not a gardener! We have a garage.....which is a mess, and anther project we have to do is sort through our junk out there......we just need some spare time!
This is Isaac and Sydnie's room. They share a room well right now so we will keep it that way for now. I asked advice on facebook as to what color(s) we should do on the walls for the girl/boy room........... I think we are going to go with the light green and a blue! Another project that we need some spare moments for.......but stay tuned.... I am sure once it is done we'll do a post!
