Christmas 2009

We spent Christmas Eve afternoon at the bouncey land in town. It is such a great place! The pentecostal church in town opens their doors with three bouncey things, for the community to come and play (three afternoons a week).....for FREE! It's great!! ~ and not only do the kids have fun....... so do the men!








We had a Christmas Eve supper of home made pizza. And then we headed out for a Christmas Eve service at one of the churches here in town....... when we got home we let the kids open a Christmas eve gift.........but leading up to this night we let them open an early gift on the 22nd (Jenga Max), on the 23rd ("Up") the movie, and the Christmas Eve it was Pictureka the game ~ SO FUN!!

The afternoon of Christmas Eve a friend of ours came by with this huge wreath........if you look closely there is chocolates, and candy canes glued all over it! The kids enjoyed that!! And I enjoyed a couple of the chocolates, too!
Christmas morning......... the kids actually slept in past 8AM, which was nice!! And Isaac had a very difficult time waking up. I held him on the couch for a while, and when he heard the excitement in the girls from opening their stockings, he woke up and got right into it too. It was a nice time spent as a family. I was saying to Rolland when we went to bed on Christmas Eve, that Christmas wouldn't be fun if we didn't have kids! They make it the best!! We are so blessed!



Later we headed to Estevan to visit Grandma and Grandpa H. Uncle Marc, and his girlfriend Laura were there too. We had fun opening more gifts, playing games, doing puzzles, and just relazing. (oh ya, and lots of eating!)

Emily made this picture at school and gave it to Grandma, it was pretty nice (IMO)!
