We set out two traps for the skunk(s) that have been visiting. I say skunkS because Rolland's parents are visiting and staying in our guest house, and the other night Henri got up to come in to use the washroom, and when he walked back out there were TWO skunks sitting on the deck!!! :) YIKES!!!
So the night before last something had managed to eat whatever was in the one trap, close the trap door, but not get caught! And again last evening the same thing, so Rolland left the trap shut on that one, but left the other one (that hadn't been touched) open..........well there was something in it this morning.....but it wasn't a skunk!!!! It was a racoon!! :) (something that doesn't bother me that much to have around!).
Rolland, his dad, Sydnie, Korbyn & Delanie (neice and nephew) took the trap to release the racoon a ways away.....but the silly thing wouldn't come out!! And at this very moment, the trap is still sitting out there a ways away waiting for the racoon to leave! LOL
